How to Install & Use
Get Your API Key
First, you'll need a TranslatePlus API key. If you don't have one yet, create a free account and get your API key from the dashboard.
Create Free AccountInstall the Addon
Visit the Firefox Add-ons store and click "Add to Firefox" to install the TranslatePlus addon.
Install from Firefox Add-onsConfigure TranslatePlus Settings
After installation, click on the TranslatePlus addon icon in your Firefox toolbar to open the settings page. Follow these steps to configure the addon:
Open TranslatePlus Settings
Click on the TranslatePlus addon icon in your Firefox toolbar (usually located in the top-right corner). This will open the addon's settings page.
Add Your TranslatePlus API Key
In the settings page, locate the "API Key" field. Paste your TranslatePlus API key that you obtained from your dashboard. The API key is required to authenticate your translation requests.
Test Connection
After entering your API key, click the "Test Connection" button to verify that your API key is valid and the addon can communicate with the TranslatePlus API. You should see a success message confirming the connection.
Select Target Language
Choose your preferred target language from the dropdown menu. This is the language that selected text will be translated into. You can change this at any time from the settings page.
Your API key is stored securely in Firefox's local storage and never shared with third parties. All translations are sent directly to the TranslatePlus API.
Start Translating
Select any text on any website, then click the TranslatePlus icon or use the keyboard shortcut. The translation will appear in a clean popup overlay.
