How to Install & Use

Get Your API Key

First, you'll need a TranslatePlus API key. If you don't have one yet, create a free account and get your API key from the dashboard.

Install the Extension

Visit the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome" to install the TranslatePlus extension.

Configure TranslatePlus Settings

After installation, click on the TranslatePlus extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the settings page. Follow these steps to configure the extension:

Open TranslatePlus Settings

Click on the TranslatePlus extension icon in your Chrome toolbar (usually located in the top-right corner). This will open the extension's settings page.

Add Your TranslatePlus API Key

In the settings page, locate the "API Key" field. Paste your TranslatePlus API key that you obtained from your dashboard. The API key is required to authenticate your translation requests.

Test Connection

After entering your API key, click the "Test Connection" button to verify that your API key is valid and the extension can communicate with the TranslatePlus API. You should see a success message confirming the connection.

Select Target Language

Choose your preferred target language from the dropdown menu. This is the language that selected text will be translated into. You can change this at any time from the settings page.

Your API key is stored securely in Chrome's local storage and never shared with third parties. All translations are sent directly to the TranslatePlus API.

Start Translating

Select any text on any website, then click the TranslatePlus icon or use the keyboard shortcut. The translation will appear in a clean popup overlay.
